The Acid Hybrid One 400 is built to be durable and tough that's why it is built with features like triple butted aluminium superlite tubes and a tapered head tube, for extra strength and reduced weight. A Schwalbe Tough Tom front tyre is paired with the Schwalbe Rapid Rob specifically for ideal traction and speed, with the grip to handle a range of surfaces. The SR Suntour XCM suspension fork will handle all the bumps, while the powerful Shimano hydraulic disc brakes deliver plenty of all-weather stopping power, giving you the ultimate control even in the toughest conditions. Features

Easy Mount Kickstand: The Easy Mount Kick Stand is a new system developed by CUBE, in which the base of the stand is mounted from below to a fitting plate integrated to the frame and fixed with a through bolt. This makes the kick stand extremely stiff, stable and solid through the enlarged contact areas between base and frame.

Frame Safe System: To protect our frames the mounting thread is in the hanger and not in the frame as usual. In case of a crash, this hanger can be easily and quickly replaced by a new one.

Integrated Cable Routing: Cables are protected from dirt for longer life and weight is saved as there is no external housing and the bike has a clean, sleek appearance.

Advanced Mechanical Forming: We can mechanically transform different frame tubes and thus optimise them without material-wearing welding work for the respective requirements. Along the obtained organic look, the production method is primarily to enable us to manufacture lighter and also stiffer aluminum frames.

High Performance Aluminium: For our high end bikes we use High Performance 7005 Aluminium alloy which has a very low density combined with high strength due to the alloy elements and the hardening heat treatment. By triple butting or even quadruple butting (as in the REACTION , HANZZ and AERIUM models) to give different wall thicknesses in one tube, aluminium tubes are reinforced where required and made lighter where possible. In this way, we succeed in getting material where its needed most. 

Optimal Drive Position: CUBE developed an innovative new frame construction for the new Ebike generation: simultaneously being the cradle for the electric motor, the pivot for the rear link and the seat of the shock eyelet, the very complex area of the bottom bracket is made of two forged halves. The groove in the front section together with the specially formed down tube is home for the power pack which in this way has a very low position in the frame triangle. The positive outcome is an extremely low center of gravity supporting an agile riding characteristic while achieving a super rigid bottom bracket area.

Smooth Welded: This elaborate procedure with doubled weld seams has two advantages: On the one hand, it improves the firmness of the weld seams and minimises the load peaks on the tube welds through energy flow and on the other hand, it helps the frame to a better and more organic look due to the smooth and hardly noticeable welds.
